Cooking Instructions

  1. Defrost 24 hours in refrigerator.
  2. Bring 2 cups water to a boil in a small saucepan. Add millet to water and return to boil. Cover, reduce heat to low, and simmer until water is absorbed and millet is tender, about 20 minutes.
  3. Meanwhile, heat heat 1 tablespoon oil of choice over high heat in a large skillet. Add chickpeas/greens to skillet and cook until greens are tender, about 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  4. Return empty skillet to high heat and add mushrooms/onions to skillet. Cook 5 minutes. Add tahini mixture (large cup) to skillet along with 1 & 1/2 cup water. Bring gravy to a bubble over medium heat. Fill cup containing cornstarch with water. Shake to combine and add to gravy. Continue to cook until gravy is thick. Serve milliet topped with chickpeas, greens, and gravy.
