Quinoa Paella (GF)
This paella is packed with flavorful grain and legume proteins. Organic quinoa, complimented by onions, garlic, red beans, tomatoes and green peas are simmered in vegetable broth and seasonings to create the perfect weeknight supper!
- Garlic Powder
- Green Peas
- Kidney Beans
- Onion Powder
- Smoked Paprika
- Vegetable Base
- Defrost 24 hours in refrigerator.
- If desired, rinse quinoa in a fine mesh sieve (optional).
- Heat a large, high sided skillet over medium/high heat. Add quinoa, bean mixture, and 2 cups water to skillet. Bring to a boil, cover, and reduce heat to low. Cook 20 minutes or until quinoa is tender.
- Remove cover and stir. If mixture seems too dry, add another 1/4 cup water. Replace cover and cook 5 minutes more. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Serve with a dash of hot sauce!
